Thank you Kenmore's Family
this is a sad moment for me cause I'm leaving San Francisco and the Kenmore after more than 3 months and I've to say goodbye to some of my dearest friends of ever.
The months I spent with you all in San Francisco were some of the best months of my life and owe this to you.
Thank you for your kindness, your friendship, your love, for all the time we spent together, for all the places we saw together, the experiences we lived together, thank you for being so good friends.
I'll miss you all, but I'll keep you in my heart forever. I hope you'll do the same with me.
Thank you chicky for all the time we spent together fighting with my never-working laptop and kenmore's powerfull connection. Thank you for all the confessions we made to each other, thank you for being so sincere and so honest with everybody and in particular with me. Thank you for the times you spoke without thinking cause you were so funny. Thank you for believing in me like a friend and for addressing me like the leader of the group. Sometimes it was hard, but it has been a pleasure and an honor.
Thank you Marco for all the beers we drank together, thank you for traing (in vain) to couple me with every moving thing on two legs living or just still warm. Thank you for your efforts, I appreciated them, but I was not in the mood for it. Thank you for asking so often my advice and for giving me yours, for sharing with me some confessions and keeping mine. Thank you for your tropical 317 and the time we spent there. Thank you for all the times we went to BevMo (right they know us by name!) and all the money we spent there in alcool. Thank you for following me everywhere never (or maybe just seldom) doubting. Thank you for driving us out of the fucking Yosemite Park almost without gazoline.
Thank you Manu for everything. For all the time we spent in that fucking archive fighting with thousands of folders. Thank you for your passionate friendship, for having entrusted me with all your preoccupations, problems and worries. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for having endured me for more than 3 months during all my no-days. I owe you a big debt of gratitude.
Thank you Satoshi for your politness, your special kindness and your being so unique among japanese people. Thank you for being a so good neighbor and for showing yourself like a zombie so often.
Thank you Miki for your kindness your joy and happiness and the patience you showed with Marco.
Thank you Simona for your friendship and your company.
Thank you Nina for being the gentle german girl I'll never forget. Thank you for hosting us in your room to see Grey's Anatomy. And sorry again if we didn't come to pay you a visit in Los Angeles.
Thank you Bérénice for the way you used to say my name (Federrrricoo), for your happiness, your bright presence. Thank you for always disagreeing with me, I loved it. Thank you for your undying friendship. And thank for letting me provoke you so often. Thank you for being my special french girl, it's a pleasure to be your italian guy. I'll come back in Paris a day.
Thank you Pauline for all the time we spent in your room, for all the time you spent complaining with us. I'm sure I'll never find again a person so funny when complaining.
Thank you Romain, Motoko, Guillermo, Nick, Michelle, Angeline, Mosh, Lea, Sonia, Marine, Melodié, Jaime, Javier, Maykoto, Suleyman, Hikaru, Milena, Anna, Phoebe, Cloe, Dorothée, Armand, Andreas, Michael, Kasia, Oka, Giovanni, Luca, Clara, Asa, Pedram, Flavio, Miriam, Vincent, Janine, Daniel, William, Blanca, the 3 spanish shopping queens, Wallace, Marica, Chiara, Mariko, Mito, and probably many more.
Thank you all guys. You've been my family in these months.
Thank you Kenmore's Family.
P.S.: finally at home, unfortunately USAirways decided to lose one of my 2 bags somewhere in the universe. Perhaps my new samsonite bag, full of Christmas presents right now is in Singapore or Timbuctu, or Bengasi, who knows...
P.P.S: Added a new gallery (San Francisco 4) with the latest pictures. Enjoy!!

Still here, but not for long...
Hey guys, we're still here! And we're alive, at least I'm alive!
Anynaway during this long period of silence many things happened.
We went to Napa valley to taste american wine (good).
Thanksgiving passed without troubles (as did the black friday, at list for someone...).
Paulina left Kenmore, San Francisco and USA (but she'll be back in january, don't worry). As expected she had some problems. Instead of seeing her coming back from the airport we received
And... and many more things right now I don't remember. You'll find everything in our pictures here and here.
We still love each other a lot and we miss you all Nina, Paulina, Romain, Bérénice, ecc.
This is probably one of the last posts of this blog, I'm really sorry all this is coming to an end. I'll carry back home a lot of happy and funny memories, thank you all.
Please come to pay us a visit in Italy, you'll be welcome!
And... Paulina, stop complaining! Right now!
Kisses

I MISS YOU!
Hi Kenmore Family,
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to write but I didn't have much time to find a computer with internet since I got to Los Angeles. I really, really like the pictures of your trip and it looks like you had an amazing time. I will never forget that you didn't visit me though!!!!!!
I hope you are all fine and I miss you all tons....
Los Angeles is really warm. I walked my little host brothers to school a couple of time last week and even in the morning (and wearing t-shirt and shorts) it was almost too hot to walk outside. At the moment I am visiting one of my friends at Oxidental College. I went to some of the classes and this place is really nice.
Don't forget me....
Nina

Road Trip
Finally I found the time to write again on the blog, and about our crazy trip acros the States (or at least some of them).
We left kenmore on thursday at 10 am, after breakfast. we headed east for Oakland. we taught, it'll be simple, we just need to take the bay bridge... sure, very simple... it took just 30 minutes to find the entrance of the fucking bridge. Anyway we found it finally, we crossed it and... and now where do we go?! We lost our road 3 times in the 120.000 highways in and around Oakland. After 5 long hours of driving we reached the Yosemite National Park (huge and wonderful!) we got lost there and we (me and Kim) tried to ask a really kind ranger some help and we were nearly shot down (go, just go, go!!!). Remember, never ask information to the Yosemite's rangers! dodging bullets and almost finishing the gasoline, we found our way out of the fucking park and reached the Motel 6 in Mammoth Lakes. The second day we woke up at 5.30 (I'm not joking, 5.30 AM exist!) and I drove till Bishop where we had breakfast in a really nice
Many people told us it was impossible doing that trip in 5 days and we did it in 4. We saw many astonishing places and the real america.
Enjoy the pictures.
P.S. for Romain: as you can see we tried the KFC and we found it pretty disgusting!
See you soon ;-)

A miracle comes true ...
... or so it must seem :-) I think I have promised Federico at least 874582734058327450983745 times that I would write on this blog and finally I got around to actually doing it...
Only four days left before I leave the Kenmore family and I know I will miss you all a lot. Romain, thank you for your nice comments and Berenice, it was great to hear from you.
Since I will see you at dinner tonight, I don't really know what to write right now. It is good to know that it is working though, this way I will be able to write more when I am in Los Angeles.

After a tenday...
Wellcome back.
It's a long time I didn't write on the blog and we did many things.
Last weekend we went to the Fleet Parade and to the Air Show in Marina and to the Italian Heritage Parade in North Beach and then to Castro Fair, you can easily imagine what kind of fair ;-).

Last saturday we tried, in vain, to go to the Golden Gate Park. We finished in Turk street, near market street, looking for the 31 bus, and there we discovered a good place where to go if one wants to be robbed, raped, mutilated and killed. Someone, wrongly..., blames me for this inconvenience. Anyway, we decided that it wasn't a good day to be robbed, raped, mutilated and killed, so we moved some blocks up and get on the 31 bus in Eddy street... in the wrong direction, and, I'm still not able to undestand why, someone blamed me for this event... ungrateful... Like that time when we went to Fisherman's Wharf to see the fireworks and I wasn't sure if the fireworks were in Fisherman's Wharf or Embarcadero, so we moved to
Embarcadero and in the exact moment we get off the F line, I remembered that the fireworks were scheduled for the day after... That wasn't my fault; obviously the website where I read about the fireworks was unclear and misleading! Finally we decided to go to Alamo Square and I get them there without any problem, as always...
Not satisfied with only 30 minutes of Turk street, in the evening I went with paulina and Kim to a party in Vantaggio residence (in Turk street) and then to the Ambassador Club.
On sunday we succeded in going to the Golden Gate Park and it was a really sunny day everywhere on San Francisco... except in the Golden Gate Park. The weather there was cloudy, foggy and windy and we had only the strenght to visit the Tea Garden and walk a bit (maybe more than a bit, ok...) before fleeing. Incredibly, while we were going to the park the others didn't trust me about the bus we had to take and the bus stops (see picture 1). Like (maybe) always, I was right.
For dinner we went to a Japanese restaurant in Japan Town, Tanpopo. We ate really well and a new character were born there: wasabi san. A french guy addicted to wasabi (Romain, see picture 3) who tried to suicide eating wasabi.

Tonight we wanted to go to Twin Peaks to see the sunset and San Francisco by night, but finally (with the help of a certain french guy) we opted for remaining at Kenmore.
I updated the galleries adding San Francisco 2.
We're planning a crazy trip by car. In 4 days from San Francisco to Yosemite Park, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Mojave Preserve and Santa Barbara, nearly 2000 miles between California, Arizona and Nevada.

And finally....
Sad but true, I have to leave my beloved room 301. the good news is that I'm moving in Jaime's and Hikaru's room, the 410, so a wellknown place.
This is the Fleetweek, so today we've been to the Fleet Parade in the Bay and to see the air show at Fishermans Wharf. Soon I'll post some pictures, when the weekend will be over and I'll have had (correct??) the time to collect all the pictures.
No big news, Marco has a new roommate, a French guy, Roman, really good.
I hope to hear something about you,
good night
