After a tenday...

Wellcome back.
It's a long time I didn't write on the blog and we did many things.
Last weekend we went to the Fleet Parade and to the Air Show in Marina and to the Italian Heritage Parade in North Beach and then to Castro Fair, you can easily imagine what kind of fair ;-).

Last saturday we tried, in vain, to go to the Golden Gate Park. We finished in Turk street, near market street, looking for the 31 bus, and there we discovered a good place where to go if one wants to be robbed, raped, mutilated and killed. Someone, wrongly..., blames me for this inconvenience. Anyway, we decided that it wasn't a good day to be robbed, raped, mutilated and killed, so we moved some blocks up and get on the 31 bus in Eddy street... in the wrong direction, and, I'm still not able to undestand why, someone blamed me for this event... ungrateful... Like that time when we went to Fisherman's Wharf to see the fireworks and I wasn't sure if the fireworks were in Fisherman's Wharf or Embarcadero, so we moved to Embarcadero and in the exact moment we get off the F line, I remembered that the fireworks were scheduled for the day after... That wasn't my fault; obviously the website where I read about the fireworks was unclear and misleading! Finally we decided to go to Alamo Square and I get them there without any problem, as always...
Not satisfied with only 30 minutes of Turk street, in the evening I went with paulina and Kim to a party in Vantaggio residence (in Turk street) and then to the Ambassador Club.

On sunday we succeded in going to the Golden Gate Park and it was a really sunny day everywhere on San Francisco... except in the Golden Gate Park. The weather there was cloudy, foggy and windy and we had only the strenght to visit the Tea Garden and walk a bit (maybe more than a bit, ok...) before fleeing. Incredibly, while we were going to the park the others didn't trust me about the bus we had to take and the bus stops (see picture 1). Like (maybe) always, I was right.
For dinner we went to a Japanese restaurant in Japan Town, Tanpopo. We ate really well and a new character were born there: wasabi san. A french guy addicted to wasabi (Romain, see picture 3) who tried to suicide eating wasabi.

Tonight we wanted to go to Twin Peaks to see the sunset and San Francisco by night, but finally (with the help of a certain french guy) we opted for remaining at Kenmore.

I updated the galleries adding San Francisco 2.

We're planning a crazy trip by car. In 4 days from San Francisco to Yosemite Park, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Mojave Preserve and Santa Barbara, nearly 2000 miles between California, Arizona and Nevada.
